Pet-Sitting Experience
Hello, My Name Is Michelle
Hi, I’m Michelle! I am a 64-year-old, non-smoker, active animal and nature lover. I have been pet sitting for a few years after deciding to turn my empty nest into a genuine love of animals and their companionship.
I have sat all around Perth and beyond, taking care mainly of dogs. They are such great company and give me a sense of purpose at this stage of my life. I also enjoy the lifestyle, travelling around, meeting lovely owners and getting to know their pets.
My experience with animals started at a very young age, being partly raised on my grandfather’s dairy farm in the Waikato, New Zealand. My best friend as a kid was a beautiful working dog, a Border Collie named Tip.
Tip was incredibly intelligent and always knew when it was time to round up the cows for milking. Those days may seem like a lifetime ago, but the memories still remain — and Tip’s paw print will always hold a very special place in my heart.
